FLUKA is a fully integrated particle physics Monte Carlo simulation package.  It is widely used to model the interactions of radiation with matter in high-energy physics and engineering, with applications including radiation protection, detector and telescope design, cosmic ray studies, dosimetry, medical physics, radiobiology, and well logging.

Since 2019, many aspects of the physics in FLUKA have been significantly improved. These updates are described in detail in the recent paper:
